Engineering majors always say this. Then, they realize there is a curve and at least half of them - depending on the distribution - end up with a passing grade.

Regardless, keep your head up! Even if you don't pass, it is not the end of the world or your dream of becoming an engineer! You may just need to tone down your course load a little next semester. Despite the "you will not believe how hard my case load is this semester!" competition that occurs among students in a lot of academically challenging programs, there is no shame in passing the courses on your own terms. Moreover, no one will care about the difficulty of your college course load after you graduate. They will only care about: (1) the fact you graduated; (2) your major (to a certain extent); and (3) your GPA (to a much lesser extent).

8) 4.0 this semester. Not sure what my cum GPA is now, it hasn't been updated. Still enraged about the B- I got last semester.

There's always one. My one B- wasn't even a real professor. It was some tour guide hack whom the department hired to teach Biblical Archaeology. What a shameful thing to do. Didn't help that the department chair was a hack as well. (How do you chair a Judaic Studies department and be incompetent at reading ancient Hebrew?)

The class I got the B- had a final exam with a bunch of gotcha questions that very specifically referenced past homework assignments. It was quite strange.

Smile: Hit the treadmill for a good half hour after work. I feel like I'm falling apart. My knees and feet have been giving me a lot of pain over the last couple of months but I was able knock out a pedestrian 2 1/2 miles without too much issue.

Pissed me off: Had to make a run to WalMart to grab some of those $50 Dr. Scholls inserts to help with my foot pain. Traffic was awful and it took forever to get back to my side of town but when I did I stopped off at Goodwill then Savers. Goodwill was a bust but when I walked into Savers I made my way over to the game section and found a 50+ year old guy scanning a stack of Gamecube games. I thought he worked there at first but then I realized he was the dreaded "scanner-reseller". The games were all AAA titles- Windwaker, Mario Party, Luigi's Mansion...there were maybe 10 of them that I saw, all complete and pristine ($6 each). He said they had just put them on the shelf. 10 minutes earlier and they would have been mine. :x Not an actual problem by an means or a terrible occurrence but just annoying.
"Oh great, another box of useless sh*t."

Main Collection: http://connect.collectorz.com/users/ynj ... collection - Not looking to move anything on this list but would entertain offers.

Big Smile: Add one more iron to the fire. I'm now the marketing consultant for my cities art museum. Really excited about this new venture.

Wow, what a dream job Luke! I'll admit it. I'm jealous.

I'm an artist who makes js off my own work. I make all my money in Graphic / Web design and marketing. I'd love to do marketing for a museum.

I might be pm'ing you a bit then.

I'm just starting to understand the culture and community, but it's been really interesting so far. The big issue is that our main donors are aging, and we haven't been actively seeking the thirty something crowd who will bring in new money.

I've already presented a swot analysis, and the major opportunity is to get people into the museum. People drive by it every day, but the amount of foot traffic in the museum is abysmal (around 15,000 visitors a year). My personal goal is to double the amount of visitors and to bring call to actions to have repeat visitors become repeat donators.

Something really exciting is that I'll be in close contact with Kymia Nawabi, who won "America's Next Top Artist". She's hot on Twitter so I'm planning a social media campaign, plus a Kickstarter program to "Bring Kymia Home". The event itself is already scheduled, but I'm planning on running a few litmus tests so to say to gauge our online presence.

So, suffice to say, I'm really excited about this. Huge challenges await.

Is this a classic art museum or a modern gallery?

I can tell you this much: the people you want to bring in are TINCs. They are the ones who spend money on art. Greater than fifty percent of my own are sales are to this group. I'm sure that you could convince them to donate if you can give them the right social atmosphere. TINCs make the world go 'round.

Both. Dedicated galleries, traveling exhibits, special exhibits.
