Engineering majors always say this. Then, they realize there is a curve and at least half of them - depending on the distribution - end up with a passing grade.lisalover1 wrote:I've only got one exam left, and it's tomorrow at 8 AM. This semester has been hell for me; I doubt that I'll pass Differential Equations or Circuits I.
Regardless, keep your head up! Even if you don't pass, it is not the end of the world or your dream of becoming an engineer! You may just need to tone down your course load a little next semester. Despite the "you will not believe how hard my case load is this semester!" competition that occurs among students in a lot of academically challenging programs, there is no shame in passing the courses on your own terms. Moreover, no one will care about the difficulty of your college course load after you graduate. They will only care about: (1) the fact you graduated; (2) your major (to a certain extent); and (3) your GPA (to a much lesser extent).
