Macklemore and Ryan Lewis just ended their world tour back here in their home of Seattle where they sold out the Key Arena for THREE nights in a row! I was there every night up in front! It was an incredible set of shows.
Over the course of three days, the shows also included local legends like XPerience, JFK, and CandidT (aka TH3RDZ), DV1 (DJ of the Seattle Seahawks), and the one and only, big booty lovin' Sir Mix-A-Lot. I wish I had more pics of our local boys because they are really talented, but the lighting wasn't as good for them and my pictures are all a blurry mess.
There were also other major independent recording artists Big Krit, Res, and the phenomenal Talib Kweli.
Each show was a little different, but they were all HUGE. The energy of a crowd that big all cheering on their hometown hero and him just soaking it all in for the homecoming of his tour was magic.
