We had Caesar III in my middle school computer lab. It was great, especially when everyone's buildings would catch fire and we would freak out.

(Seriously, that game is really fun, and IMO, it is one of the best games of its era regardless of educational value.)

Yes!!!

My elementary school had a series of Apple II computers with Oregon Trail and Number Munchers.

If you were lucky enough to be in the gifted & talented program you also had access to the school's one and only......... Amiga. 8)

we the all in one macintoshes which I am not sure which model, but they had small screens and black and white colors. I was amazed by the coloring with texture it had, and how the font names would actually take the form of the font in MacPaint I think.

It had a game that I used to call aladdin , now I know its Prince of Persia. Later on in around '96-'97 we would feel so "special" to be able to run a game in the library ... it was MYST. It was beautiful to look at but I think no one ever passed the first screen....

A great list of games. There are a ton on here that I've always wanted to play but never really had the chance. I think I'm going to make it a goal of mine to try to play a game off of here every month next year.

I'm going to guess it came out in 1992 (ish) as I got the demo the same time I got the Loom CD re-release which was also 92 I believe. I couldn't even tell you what the gameplay was in this game, all I can say is I remember the demo was animated cutscenes - and showed a futuristic submarine. I wanna say it was some kind of cyberpunk game that took place on a submarine. Maybe. This is so super vague, I know but just putting that out there. :|

turns out night's guess was wrong, but I did track this game down. It was Wetlands! I was a few years off with my 92 estimate...

Glad you found it!
Both games were from 1996 too, which is a curious coincidence.

Developed by Hypnotix, famous for their Outlaw sports series on the 6th gen consoles, as well as Who Wants To Beat Up A Millionaire on the Dreamcast
