yeah I'm down- but before you do put it up there, let me first go through and add some links so people can find stuff on their own, know where i got the information, and know where to buy things. You know... fix the [citation needed].

I'm going to clean up some of the language too. Not as far as raunchy content, but as far as the way it reads. I wrote it off the cuff and just want to put some polish on it.

I'll shoot you a pm when I update it. If not sunday then monday afternoon probably.
Sounds awesome -- thanks!

hey racket et all I updated it. Threw in some more information here and there and even a few links. Also added a neo geo cd section that is mostly wikipedia entry- but a little bit of riffing from myself.

Nice article! It kinda makes me glad that I'm not that into the genres that appear on the Neo Geo, since no matter which way you go, it's damn expensive.

Very informative thanks for the article. Just purchased a cd unit for the easy to get games and price range and maybe some years from now will invest in an aes with a couple of carts just for the childhood dream, but for playing it will be emulation only. Even going the mvs route is a little more expensive than usual retro consoles.
