I'm going to clean up some of the language too. Not as far as raunchy content, but as far as the way it reads. I wrote it off the cuff and just want to put some polish on it.

hey racket et all I updated it. Threw in some more information here and there and even a few links. Also added a neo geo cd section that is mostly wikipedia entry- but a little bit of riffing from myself.

Nice article! It kinda makes me glad that I'm not that into the genres that appear on the Neo Geo, since no matter which way you go, it's damn expensive.

Very informative thanks for the article. Just purchased a cd unit for the easy to get games and price range and maybe some years from now will invest in an aes with a couple of carts just for the childhood dream, but for playing it will be emulation only. Even going the mvs route is a little more expensive than usual retro consoles.

awesome post, i found this now....when i just started my hunt for the neo geo 2 days ago. Thanks, answered alot of questions i had...now someone give me an AES
