Level 3-6 is awesome. Has any one played that level yet?

Yup. On World 5 currently.

You'd think the game would show some letting up in quality but nope, keeps on throwing brand new ideas at you and boy is it fun.

You guys playing solo? Played a bit with a friend last night and it was a blast. I bet it's just as fun solo, but yeah talk about a lot of fun with some people too.

This is where the fixed camera comes in handy for sure. Otherwise a more open Mario and such wouldn't have been as doable for parties.

So this game rocks when playing solo, but is even better with 2 players! My Wife and I are having a blast! She joined in, and we went back through the worlds I cleared to get any green stars and stamps I missed the first time through. It plays so well with multiple people, not like the "New" series, that was just chaos on the screen. We are about half way through world 5 currently, and each level is still so fresh and awesome.

Edit: so the difficulty cranked up with the switching platform level (every jump makes the platform change sides) This with 2 people was almost impossible, I carried my Wife (literally) through a lot of the level. Then the searchlight level was insane with all the "homing" bullet bills. This game is either the most fun you will have playing together, or be the cause of your immanent divorce.

Another one (like Link Between Two Worlds) that I want to play so badly it hurts. But I need a Wii U, first.

I just can't see how everyone is sweeping Nintendo under the rug like they aren't even part of the next-gen. The games they're putting out lately have looked amazing!

No shit. Two Zelda games and three Mario games is 100 times more interesting than whatever is on the PS4Bone.

Back to this game though, Mike Matei apparently has some issues...

Yeah, or he could just, you know, not use it. I know he acknowledges that, but still... Haha. Just like I don't use the blocks on Sonic Lost World that let you skip to the next check point if you keep dying.

I'm probably gonna wait until smash bros comes out before I consider getting one. But that Mario game is looking pretty excellent. Can't wait to see what other amazing 1st party exclusives they make for the Wii U.

I definitely agree with that, but of course I do, I'm a retro-bastard, get offa my lawn! I know you can skip the block, but the principle is still relevant. It's disappointing that something like that exists.
