Fun Topic: Is it tme for sega to come back?

i like to think thoes games are their pinnacle laetly but true another year or two of strong games then we can see release of a new console in the next generation!

but the Sega consoles did have a "Gootta have" overhear to some extent mainly the mega drive of course (europe) but i remember the amount people who bought a Sega Saturn and dreamcast on launch day....i miss the days *sniff*

but i think Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Chronicle's will help bring back a good name for the blue blur in 2008-09 i just hope they can the black night -__-

I wish they came back to the hardware market but not with a new console, bue another revision of the Genesis, with better video output that composite and RF (like S-Video or RGB), and a cart slot instead of built-in games, smaller size, no region lockout, compatibility with add-ons (32x, Game Genie, SMS adaptor, etc), stere sound and a $30 or less price (like the Genesis 3 back in the day).

It could be profitable, as there are Genesis clones appearing here and there, so people must be buying them. And I bet most of the people here would get one. But its very doubtful they'll do something like that with the virtual console and all those crappy pre-loaded systems.

I think there is a chance like
sega would make a system where people can create their games and sell them online. The system can be cheap, and sega can release like sonic games for past era(kind of what they did with mega man), from there maybe they can build up.

the idea of creating your game and selling them is not weird as its happening with games like world of goo and others, plus some apps and games on iphone.
