Light Crusader is another game I love. This is an excellent game, but it's not a platformer.

In what sense? Much of the game is spent platform jumping to progress in the game, or to solve puzzles. If that isn't platforming, I'm not too sure what is.samsonlonghair wrote:...but it's not a platformer.

Yeah not sure I would call those platformers either, just as I wouldn't call Ultima VIII a platformer.
Then again, isometric games can be very tricky to classify. I suppose the "Platformer/RPG hybrids" term the OP used could work.
