This. I've "upgraded" some of my vanilla versions of games to these because it'll be great to have the full package available to replay in ten years.

same, especially the fallout games, that DLC is pretty awesome. I hope they do a GOTY edition of Farcry 3 with the blood dragon DLC on it. It would be pretty sad to see that lost to a server shutdown.
I'm predicting that the Wii U won't be able to keep up with the PS4 and Xbone hardware-wise, so it could be a dumping ground for rehashes of PS3 and 360 top sellers in the same vein as Arkham City Armored Edition.
Easy money for proven sellers on a brand that never saw them, I suppose.
"Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world."
Released for both PS3 and 360, this is an apparent hodge-podge of current-gen games released in one interesting bundle. Included are DMC4, Resident Evil 6, Mega Man 10, Dead Rising 2, Super Street Fighter 4, and a Capcom Travel bag. Awesomely enough, these are the physical versions of these games, not DLC (except MM10, of course). This is likely to be an odd gem for the current generation that will probably be tough to track down later.

Another cross-platform release, this bundle includes all three Mass Effect games with extra bonus content. Considering how popular the series has become and how well all three games have sold, I'm not sure that many copies of this release are being sold. 59.99 is pretty expensive for a re-release of three common titles, but when the price cuts start coming, I'll be in line to grab one of these.

I hardly call any of those games essentials, but i only played RE 6 of the bunch, you can get the whole package cheaper buying them individualy. If megaman 10 wasn't a download code would be essential.
There's a physical english version of the HD port of resident evil 4 and veronica? I know the japanese version of okami HD has english if your console is set on that languaje.

Two more unnecessary groupings of common titles that most gamers already own at this point, these seem likely to become oddities simply for the fact that they're part of a collection. The Halo collection will definitely garner some interest from collectors and diehard fans of the series, but casual gamers will likely pass them up.
