The first one does a lot to set up the world and the characters for you; the second assumes familiarity with those things. While most of the story of the first is not needed, there's a few events near the end that tie in heavily with the third one coming out. And there's an amnesia plotline that runs between the first and second games, so if you come into the second you're missing a good chunk of that plot.ZenErik wrote:Well, it's pretty easy to sell me on a game that I am already interested in.
