The writting is top notch and very engrossing, even if you don't like to read, it may grab your attention and completely immerse you because its quality is far and above anything in the video game medium. Besides, you can read at your own comfortable pace, be it slow or fast, and you can always save, take a break and pick it up later. Take it from me - i absolutely hate reading in video games, and i haven't picked up a book in over 13 years.

You've got incredibly atmospheric music, such as this example massaging your ears as you play side by side with breathtaking hand painted visuals:

The game is completely unique and has no modern equivalent. I honestly have no idea wether you'll enjoy the game or not.. It's practically an adventure game built in the Infinity Engine. It's more about exploring the world, exploring yourself and your companions, meeting people, doing environmental/dialogue puzzles, learning answers to powerful questions the game throws at you and so forth. It's meant to be played wile relaxing with a nice cup of coffee in one hand and the mouse in the other hand.

But what i can absolutely guarantee is that a 10 buck gamble is worth potentially knowing what can change the nature of a man.

Though it's worth mentioning that they're working on a sequel at the moment (and it gathered over 1 million dollars in 6 hours on kickstarter), not that it's a reason to avoid playing the original.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Spiritual sequel. I was a backer at a high physical tier so I got a copy of the Numenera sourcebook. The setting is very cool and has lots of weirdness like you'd find in Planescape, but it's a totally different kind of weirdness.

Buy a physical copy? It ain't that much more expensive if it's jewel case rather than big box. (You can't tell me you have a 5 dollar price limit also when collecting physical copies!)

That doesn't mean you can't keep on posting on this thread :P (idea: turn "Together RPG"-threads into general threads of those games after the deadline ends? Planescape: Torment general etc)
There's also the RPG Progress report thread

His time is going to go towards the XCOM expansion when it comes out in a couple weeks.

This is a good game for D&D beginners too. You don't need to be at all familiar with the tabletop game. And as far as I know this is the only D&D video game set in Planescape universe, so the game doesn't have any predecessors or sequels (well it will have one soon 8) ).

It's probably the best D&D video game, period. And that's saying a lot considering how many there are:

No offense, but I don't think I'd take advice on good "writting" from someone who hasn't read a book in 13 years.
