Going to read this book over the weekend. Never know they was an official book for the show.
I love the movie Ah! My Goddess. Let me know how the book is please!

I looked this up on Amazon, and apparently the Imperfect Collection is the one to buy if you get it on DVD, as it was licensed by ADV before Funimation and the Imperfect Collection has "Menchi Notes, or AD-Vidnotes", Which help understand some of the humor that the anime is referring to.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Excel Saga...... why had I not heard of this until now? It's awesome!
Here's the current saga for sale sold directly via Amazon:Excel Saga has been around long enough for you to know about it; so I am leaving this review simplistic and guessing you want to know about this release and not the actual show. This is a passable re-release HOWEVER it is missing the cultural tags which could be found in all previous releases. These tags are essential to understanding much of the humor that is inherent in the Saga. So do not buy this rendition unless you want to miss out on what really makes this show move from mediocre to great.
Used to have the Perfect Collection, but sold it, always wished it had a 2nd season or something.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Thanks - I still need to buy it. I'll see if my local record store has it.
Cable is acting finicky this evening...... think I'm gonna watch some............... Love Hina.
I remember Excel Saga having a pretty rapid cult following when I was in high school. I've had volume 1 of the manga for a long time, but never really cared all that much for it. It's fairly funny, I suppose.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Excel Saga...... why had I not heard of this until now? It's awesome!
