Queens Blade - Boobs, lots of boobs and scantily clad girls fighting and ignoring the fact they are half naked.

Girls Und Panzer - School girls driving tanks and running skirmishes, if you love cute anime school girls and tanks, then this is for you!

I looked this up on Amazon, and apparently the Imperfect Collection is the one to buy if you get it on DVD, as it was licensed by ADV before Funimation and the Imperfect Collection has "Menchi Notes, or AD-Vidnotes", Which help understand some of the humor that the anime is referring to.
Excel Saga has been around long enough for you to know about it; so I am leaving this review simplistic and guessing you want to know about this release and not the actual show. This is a passable re-release HOWEVER it is missing the cultural tags which could be found in all previous releases. These tags are essential to understanding much of the humor that is inherent in the Saga. So do not buy this rendition unless you want to miss out on what really makes this show move from mediocre to great.
Here's the current saga for sale sold directly via Amazon:

And here is the Imperfect Collection:

Used to have the Perfect Collection, but sold it, always wished it had a 2nd season or something.

I remember Excel Saga having a pretty rapid cult following when I was in high school. I've had volume 1 of the manga for a long time, but never really cared all that much for it. It's fairly funny, I suppose.

Yeah Excel Saga goes pretty far back for me. I wonder if it holds up? I always associate it with my early experiences of the Kenshin movies and Evangelion. Then for whatever reason, probably due to memories of my anime exposure to those times, I always think of those huge VHS boxset/collections that were like $150+.

There's still no consistency in anime pricing whatsoever haha, but yeah glad boxsets are so much more ideal and affordable thesedays.

Evangelion will forever be my favorite anime series. It's like so deep, man. I still need to watch those movies that came out a few years back.
