I did that, mostly, except for the VGA because I don't run VGA on anything. I actually got 12 foot cords for Composite, SVid, Component, and HDMI and hooked them all up to a 12-port 2-gang quickport. I'll be mounting that plate and a power outlet on the front of the stand that I'm having built for my 220 lb trinitron behemoth, and thus I'll be doing the "Hook up the console, use it, put it away" plan.

Only problem is the rare system I have that I cannot get off of RF (I'm looking at you, Channel F!!)... though my CRT doesn't have HDMI so maybe I can exchange that for a cable hookup and just hook the RF adapter on there.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

I remember switching the buttons between my SFC and SNES controllers back in the late '90s because I liked the coloring and feel of the SFC buttons. Then I (stupidly) traded all my SNES stuff to Funcoland because I wanted to play newer games and didn't have much money or an income as a kid. So someone out there has a SNES controller with SFC buttons and a SFC controller with the purple SNES buttons.

They are identical. You can also interchange parts from any USB or PS2 Saturn pad.

Genesis and 2600 are the same way. It sucks. Who sits that close to the TV?
