We get it, some of you like Resident Evil 4 for the Wii, some of you don't. There is NO reason to begin launching personal attacks over one's opinion of a game. Gamerforlife, simply don't play it. Chrono, Niode, AwesomeMonster, enjoy it and don't worry about Gamerforlife.

Actually, I think he means it removes some of the tension. Part of the Resident Evil experience(and survival horror as a whole up to a point) has been sluggish controls. Not because they're great controls, but because that having to take a few seconds more to get away can really up the tension of the player. If Resident Evil 4 is easier to control, it means some of that feel is gone, and the experience as a whole is less scary.

Don't take that to mean I'm defending the old controls. They had their share of problems. But I think that's the point he was driving at.

I actually hated RE before RE4 because of the "up makes you walk forward no matter what direction you're facing" play control. RE4 was the first one I enjoyed and the Wii version was even funner as I could actually shoot'm in the head fairly easy. Tension shmension; I don't like horror stuff anyways - it scares the bejesus outta me. Dem's my 2 cents~ And no thanks on the RE Gaiden.

I swear this statement will be engraved on my tombstone: RE4 didn't change the controls. It changed the camera. The core controls are fucking identical!
