Anna seems like a badass.

I married Cordelia on my first game. Her and my avatar paired together on the battlefield were invincible and I was playing on Lunatic. I had an ability on her that basically let them take two actions per turn. I think she can pass that on to her kids

I like Olivia too, but she's a better choice I think for a certain other character who gets married in the storyline, but this being your first playthrough that character's wife will probably be pre-determined for you

My other favorite girl is a bit of a spoiler. I don't know how far you are in the story

I'm on Chapter 11 still, as I've been doing some side quests.

I just thought of something. Although Nowi is useless right now, should I still be bringing her on the battlefield to pair up w/ someone? That would be beneficial to their stats, right? And would continue to level her up?

She can't attack so she can't level up, but yes she will boost that character she is paired up with.

ah, ok. I wasn't sure if a paired character gets XP for a battle that she was in even if she didn't attack.

But yeah, the stat-boost seems like a good advantage.

A quick google search came up with the following:
You get an extra one during Chapter 11 (so if a character gets it during battle he/she can trade it with Nowi so she can use it for the rest of the battle) and the shop of Chapter 12 starts selling them after you complete it.

There's a DLC map that makes it very easy to level up anyone, no matter their level or stats. It's called EXPonential Growth

Hm. She had really high stats for me, but very low survivability for some reason. The interesting thing about her is that she can only marry your avatar and one more person, so try marrying her off to noiseredux and see what their kids turn out like

I specced my Anna into Assassin and Sniper and she was just taking out things left and right.

I kept her as a thief character to open locks for me. Pretty useless skill though, I should have changed her class too.
