Yep. I don't know if it's a run on the supply, the natural fluctuation for the titles, influence from Fire Emblem Awakening, ore maybe all three. It's nuts, though.
Probably all three.

Local game store had the GameCube Fire Emblem and Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus for $35 each a couple of years back. I said "eh, I'll wait until they come down in price" and walked on by. Ooops!

Reading through the last few posts makes me extremely happy that I picked up the GC and Wii games when I did.

I cant believe I didn't pick up the Wii game whilst I could. I'd seen it as low as £10 regularly, now it goes for 3 times that amount on average :(

on Chapter 11 now. I've lost more of my party than I'd have liked though. To my own surprise, I've started doing some of the side-quests which is generally something I avoid. Hoping that'll help me recruit some more dudes.

I'm really bummed I let Lissa die last battle. I didn't even think that could happen (like if Chrom dies, you just get a game over). But I decided to let the death stick. I'm being tough on myself haha. But yeah, she was my main healer so it sucks.

um....the side missions can be quite harder than the main missions though, so be careful.

Ouch. That must suck. Lissa for me was a powerhouse. Strong healer, by FAR the strongest attacker in my team, with her spells hurting a lot (and making it impossible for me to use her to weaken enemies and then use new characters I am leveling up to finish them off) most HP (I buffed her with a bunch of items cause of her importantnce from the 2 previous things, and she also ended up being impossible for the AI to kill).

you're making me sad. :(

I'm like 4+ hrs, so enough that I wouldn't want to start over. I had told myself that the point of playing w/ permanent deaths was to make them really matter. So I guess I'm getting what I asked for.

Wish me luck!

Don't worry Noise. Pretty much everyone can become an insane powerhouse in Awakening. The way reclassing works means you can cap everyone's stats, which traditionally was the thing that separated out good units from bad (bad units had bad growth rates and would end up with low stat values).

it was damn hard to upclass donnel.

he started out super weak.

In casual mode he comes back, but im currently playing in classic mode and its pretty hard to upgrade the character.

he's such easy pickings.
