Thanks. Luckily I'd say he has "Good Dementia". He stares out the window all day looking at a tree. He isn't the crazy "WHERE DID YOU HIDE MY BASEBALL? YOU STOLE MY BASEBALL!" type.Stark wrote:Thoughts are with your wife Luke, hope things turn out well! My wife's grandmother is going insane and it's hard to watch.
Several smiles for me! Found out recently that neither of my other girls have HLH! It was about a 25% chance so ... dodged a bullet.
Moira has several bone marrow matches and they were sent to her doctor, so probably will be get the procedure kicked off in about 2 weeks or so. I'm anxious to get it going and also really scared of what she has to go through.
On the frown side, we'll probably not have any more children. 25% chance is too great a risk. It's not that I necessarily wanted more, we have 3, it's just that it's seems like a decision that is taken out of your hands and that makes me sad.
You're a lucky man to have three kids. I'm praying everyday for just one.
Good news on your daughters. Whew!
