I am just happy to see you using the enter key to make two paragraphs! Your subjects may not have changed but at least the format is! The next step to not spending so much time collecting may be to simply spend less time TALKING about collecting (or rather the lack thereof).... just a thought.

wtf people? yes, he has created multiple threads for debating his decisions regarding his collection, but it isn't worth crucifying him over it. making a little joke/having a little fun with it is one thing, but some of you are really being assholes to him :?

I agree with Ds. This thread does come off as overly harsh. Sure, a little joking is one thing, but some of you guys went off the deep end. The guy's had ups and downs with his collection and is now getting out of the hobby. No shame in it. Let's let him go with a little dignity and grace from everyone.

First of all for ds and ack thank you for defending me. Much love for ya.
I just want to say something to get off of my chest. I feel in the last few post that I have wrote all I got was negative feedback from most of the people here at racketboy. Yes I have talked about my personal collection on what I should do or trade or what's better and yes it got to be really bad but I got nothing more but negative feedback except for a few people. I had a problem, faced it, and now I'm dealing with it.
I wrote an updated post and tell everyone how I'm dealing with a bad habit of hoarding and over spending and I'm getting rid of being a collector and a hoarder and I get nothing but more negative feedback again.

So I am no longer a collector, I didn't sell anything here on racketboy, so i wrote about stupid things about what was better the dreamcast or ps2 or psp vs ps2 so what. No one here has ever done any of those things or asked those questions before?
All I ever do is talk about how great this site is. I got people at my work who became retro gamers because of this site and you users on this site.
For the last few month's I have been very happy and I feel great. I told everyone how I wanted to sell of my dreamcast and just be a casual gamer and now I have nothing but a lot of resentment and I feel like crap for posting something that I thought the users say good luck or keep up the good work and "hey mas you have gone a long way just as long as you don't go back you will do fine" or even say that the dreamcast is a great system but the ps2 has a lot of ports from the dreamcast and the ps2 will do you fine. But no. Just negativity.

Well for those who said positive things on my post thank you. For the negative ones here on racketboy good luck to you and I hope that your lives will find something to see that you shouldn't be negative on other people or life or even video games. I will NEVER post anything about my collection of what I have left or my thoughts on something or my views because every time I do I get bashed. I will just find out on wii online meet ups and that's all. Thank you

No mailing to the post office or ebay or craigslist or any crap like that. Just one transaction and I'm done. I'm sorry on that but It's a good friend of mine.
And this is why you get "bashed". What was the point of this thread then? :|
Jinx, so I'm getting bashed because I won't sell to you guys? Well if you can give me a 1000 dollars like my buddy mike then ill be happy to give you my dreamcast
Please post your Dreamcast collection. Curious to see where the 1000 dolla figure is coming from.

I agree with DS too. Sure he should have posted this in the 'What Ticked you off Today?' (as that's where you should vent) but there's no need to bag on him. A joke or two is cool but don't kick him when he's down.
