My advice would be to purchase games you plan on actually playing. You could be making a lot more money by wisely investing in stocks, not shmups.

This has little to do with investments so much as not wanting to pay even HIGHER figures years down the line when I actually get a Japanese 360, as I have no intention of getting one until the price drops much further. I've seen various shmups, especially Limited Edition copies, go up in price over the years. If I buy it in anticipation I'll still be able to enjoy it when I get a Japanese 360 down the line AND I'll save a bit of cash. Thus my question. I thought that was conveyed well enough in my original post.
