When is the redsign of the PS3 comming out

This is what i dont understand about people, they always want to wait and wait for either a silly $25 price drop or re-design which will come out to be more expensive when that first comes out and trap themselves in the silly endless cycle,

by the time they buy the freaking system the next model will be in development, and then they want to wait for that to come out, and when then comes out they want to wait for a freaking price drop again, and then they decide they cant afford it so they buy a older system and play older games (im not knocking vintage gaming here) and they never catch up to the times.

just buy a sega saturn and forget the PS3, or go for a brand new 360, $199, cheap used games and a blockbuster monthly pass will do you good yo.

More people are afraid of getting shafted thanks to shoddy product design, as has been evident by the 360. Not all people can get all consoles you know, and I think the paradigm that is based on brand loyalty is totally absurd. Some people just wait to see what platform has their choice of games. I got a PS2 in 2003 since it accumulated enough decent titles to my liking. The Xbox would have been almost useless for me since I'm a PC gamer too, disregarding the few Sega exclusives of course.

yeah, i understand those points, i waited for the BS faulty systems to be improved myself, i hope i wasnt trying to be to aggressive here, but waiting for a re-design means waiting again for faulty hardware to be kinked out,

the process here starts all over again, i say if you really need a ps3, get it now or wait until this holiday at the latest for a deal.

I heard the 65nm PS3s are more energy-efficient and generate less heat (naturally) than their predecessors. Shame about lack of BC though, which is why I'm thankful for FreeVAST!

Yeah, now is the time to buy a ps3, BC definitly sucks,

im honestly considering a PS3 just cause i need a blue ray player,

also, the japanese K-1 series (usa series sucks 100%) that were on ps2 are the best fighting games ive EVER played, since the ps3 has no region protection, if i hear od a k-1 from japan for ps3 im freaking jizzing on it!!!

I bought the ps2 slim long after it came out. I'm not trying to be on the most current thing. I just won't buy one until the redsign.

im actually playing my PS2 and have more of an interest for it than my 360, newest doesnt mean the best.
