You remember the first time you fought this big bad mother fucker? Yeah you do.

You are very very right on that one.Blu wrote: Last, I can't help but think of the symbol of the Dragon. It calls back painful memories of my past. It was November 29, 1986, a Saturday. I was walking up the hill back to the family dojo. Upon my arrival and to my alarm I saw my father battling with a green-silk robed man. He kept going on and on about some sacred Dragon Mirror. I watched as my father was killed in slow motion, like some bad kung-fu movie. I also got cold-cocked in the process. That day I swore revenge. I looked for some sailors, drove a forklift, took a one way trip to China, and met a chick on a motorcycle and bought a bunch of gashapons. Anywho, fast forward 26 years and I'm still stuck in a cave, waiting for sweet sweet revenge. One day I'll take back that Dragon mirror from that Lan Di bastard's cold, wrinkled, dead hands.
I am surprised no one has said anything about Panzer Dragoon! Who can beat sci-fi, bio-genetically engineered dragons that shoot lasers out of their mouth in a post apocalyptic world!?

I vote we take it as solid proof that great minds do indeed think alike.
I am interested to see what you had written about it. Interested in posting it?

It's fine. I was in the middle of typing it when we had emergency maintenance on a server and didn't post it. Didn't have a whole lot to say, just something like:CFFJR wrote:Sorry dude.jinx wrote:Crap! I was too busy fixing a server and you beat me to it!![]()

I remember the first time I had this beast towering over me. It was so thrilling to fight something so big, and he felt just as challenging as he looked. When I think "Dragon in gaming", this is the first thing that comes to my mind. Not because of how he looks, but the experience I had while fighting him.
Same picture since that's the first thing that pulled up in Google Images.
Re: Here Be Dragons

Liked his design more than the standard wyrm one, (or Bahamut's).

Nothing beats that first time.
What a fantastic first boss in a fantastic game.

I'd love to play with you on SCHTserv which is the private server I've been on for years, unfortunately registration is broken right now so if you don't have an account already you're out of luck. They're hoping to get it fixed this weekend but the server admin is kind of AWOL and the other staff members are busy trying to annoy him out of hiding to fix it.noiseredux wrote:yeah, totally. And yeah the first time I saw the dragon was incredible. I don't recall having faced any other enemies with that sense of scale before. It really left an impression.
