It probably doesn't count, but I do love the shooter sections in The Red Star on the PS2, which is essentially every boss fight
They should still have some. I wish I had gotten one of those autographed ones. I love this game. I've got two copies, one sealed. It's one of the best designed games I've ever played. The difficulty scales gradually with each level until things get crazy in the last few levels. The game periodically introduces new enemies to keep things interesting and the three playable characters are completely different. This game is polished and it knows it, because the ranking system is based on how little damage you take because you really have no one to blame but yourself if you take a hit.
The story is barely there though, so you'd have to read the comic book to get any back story. They really focused entirely on the gameplay
