I'm not unfortunately (?) considering where the dollar is at against the yen lately. Any reason?

Nah I was just curious as to why you were choosing import games over domestics that's all (though obviously a few of those are Japan-only).

Oh, well the majority of my collection is probably imports to begin with. Aside from that, and generally choosing to play the Japanese version of a story intensive game developed in Japan, these days, I don't know. Just how my list worked out I guess.

My list, as it is, is a far cry from what it was at the beginning of the summer, though. I have issues with commitment, sometimes.

So do I most times. That's why my list languished in the "I'm thinking about it" phase all summer.

I think my heart just wasn't in it this year.

Yeah summer has "ended" - if I still had a job I'd be back at work.

I was totally owned by college this summer. Oh yeah, the whole baby thing took a lot of my time as well.

Plus, then there was Together RPG.

MAYBE NEXT SUMMER?

I actually think I played more games that were NOT on my list than the ones that were...

My hope was to beat Tomb Raider this weekend, but that didn't work out. The last stage I did was an absolute marathon and after beating it I couldnt be bothered doing any more tonight. If I do one more stage tomorrow and tuesday I can have it beaten before summers up though.

Maybe I'll have enough time to try and get through Shantae or Cybernator too. Either way, 7 out of 10 wouldn't be bad, and I still plan to play all of the unbeaten summer games before the year is out anyhow.

Yes. I did this also. Except there's no "think" about it, it's exactly what I did >_>

Maybe I'll turn my summer list into a "2013" list.

I've put three hours into FF3 (6) tonight and plan on putting in another three before I go to bed, but damn, the story is all over the place and there doesn't seem to be a clear direction of where to go next. It's frustrating. Anyhow, I've beaten Skyrim, Radiant Historia, Dragon's Crown, and Knight's Contract this summer on top of the games I've already finished for the Summer Game Challenge, so I definitely got my gaming in. I won't give up though, gonna get as far as I can.

^I'm probably going to catch a lot of flack for this, and I haven't ever beaten the game before, but I found the three quarters or so of FFVI that I played to have a generally unmemorable story. I think it gets by on atmosphere, which is pretty good, but other than
Tina (Terra) turning into an esper
I thought the story was really uninteresting.
