I had this same issues at first. I figured since she uses claws (damned character limitations) she could attack bare-handed also, so I bought a second weapon for Yushisu instead, and ended up having to grind for money to buy a weapon for Nei with only one character, essentially.

Some games I always wonder how we managed to beat them when we were younger. Phantasy Star 2 in particular, gives virtually no direction for where stuff is, doesn't tell you the name of the place when you go in so if you're looking for a dungeon and find one, you have no way to know if it's the right one, and most of the dungeons are huge. It was fantastic, I just beat the game again a few weeks ago, but man it took forever because I kept getting lost, lol.
Huge RPG fan.

So are you guys enjoying PS2? I played this game a year or 2 ago, and it was a bit...too much for me.

I enjoyed it. There were a couple things that were really frustrating for me before I started using any maps, but overall it was a good time. I would probably be hard pressed to replay it, though. Even after completing III and IV, I don't think II will see much love from me again.

Yep, and I've been slacking too. Been recovering from surgery laying back and playing Tactics Ogre on my Vita.
