Anyone been paying any attention to Conker on N64? Prices are high, which is nothing new, but there seem to be so many carts on Ebay! For a game that didn't sell well, there are certainly a lot of copies floating around (albeit at a $90 price tag).

It's $90 now!? It was sitting around $60 when I bought one a few months back. Wow, glad I nabbed it when I did.

It really isn't THAT uncommon a game honestly.

According to Ebay.ca (I'm Canadian) the average price does indeed seem to be the $90 mark for loose copies, and around $130 for complete copies. I think I might need to pull the trigger very soon before things get worse...

hah wow! I bought CBFD cart last summer at my local retro game store for $29.99 I remember thinking to my self that its only $5-10 better than ebay at the time and I almost didn't buy it...

Edit: after checking ebay completeds it seems its around $60 right now, but still seems I still got it for a good price.

I'm late to this party but I'd just like to put in my $0.02 and say that Gamecube games appear to be going through a price growth spurt right now. In the past 12 months many of the desirable titles have grown 50-100% in price. Makes me wish I didn't already sell every extra copy of Animal Crossing, Windwaker, and Smash Bros I ever came across....

'Cube games are definitely skyrocketing, especially the Zelda games (all five of them). Games like Cubivore and Skies of Arcadia have been high for the past year or two, but expect them to jump up even more too. I'm very happy I bought most of my Gamecube games two or three years ago, especially Fire Emblem.

I have to agree, getting into the GC collecting a bit late hasn't been all that good. But once in a while, if the timing is right, I've scored some amazing deals on games under $10. Sadly, the Nintendo premium means anything Mario or Zelda is going for crazy prices (still trying to find Mario Kart DD & SSB Melee at decent prices, HAHAHAHAHA!)

Digit Press only rates Conker as a 3 for rarity. That's still pretty common when considering a big easy market like ebay.

Although the game fared well with critics in both the UK and US, it sold worse than expected (only about 50,000 copies),[40]

For a game that's not some obscure Amiga or Turbografx game, and generally quite well known, that is low. And being one of the best and more "mature" N64 games, it has very high demand. The notorious Panzer Dragoon Saga sold 30 000 copies.

Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Id still say N64 is probably the cheapest to collect for if you really look. Even a lot of the more popular games can be found 'uber-cheap' locally. I picked up a copy of Ocarina of Time and 2 copys of Goldeneye a while back for 15 bucks (combined). There are a few games with higher price tags, but out of 296 games, Im guessing maybe 15 of those will run you more than 15 bucks from what ive seen.
