I was specifically talking about 360/PS3 allowing for easier inclusion of dual audio, although I probably should have specified. Handheld falls into the realm of space constraints that the previous gen was faced with, and I don't really know anything about Wii stuff (Xenoblade and Muramasa have dual audio though). I know there are some on PS2 but it's pretty rare though, the only stuff I can think of is Odin Sphere and Grimgrimoire. Probably most of the NIS games.ZenErik wrote:Would definitely like to hear of more that are releasing with the original audio if you've got some suggestions. Mainly for PSP/PS Vita and DS/3DS. Though PS3, 360, Wii, Wii U, Dreamcast, PS2 are all alright too.
Anyway, as for PS3/360 RPGs with dual audio, looking at my shelf, most of the localized games I have are dual audio. Enchanted Arms, Disgaea 3+4, Resonance of Fate, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Star Ocean 4, Cross Edge, Trinity Universe, Ni no Kuni, Valkyria Chronicles, Eternal Sonata... not to mention every fighting game out there does dual audio now. It's certainly better odds of dual audio than it ever has been even if it's not quite the norm.
There are also cases of Japanese games being voiced in English to begin with (Resident Evil, Nier, Dark/Demon's Souls, Red Seeds Profile). The Yakuza series stands out this gen for not having any dub whatsoever with localizations.
