Might be a good time to buy Planescape: Torment for the next Together RPG thing. GOG has a sale right now, where you can get it for $2.49.

It's only that cheap if you buy it as part of a bundle.TheSSNintendo wrote:Might be a good time to buy Planescape: Torment for the next Together RPG thing. GOG has a sale right now, where you can get it for $2.49.

You can get a physical copy of Planescape for like $15 on Amazon right now - but I have no idea how well it would run on a modern PC.
Too bad that D&D Anthology shot up in price so quickly.

I don't see why you wouldn't purchase both Baldur's Gates, both Icewind Dales, and both Neverwinter Nights at the same time you get Planescape.Stark wrote:It's only that cheap if you buy it as part of a bundle.TheSSNintendo wrote:Might be a good time to buy Planescape: Torment for the next Together RPG thing. Does PS3 continue the story of PS2 and does PS4 follow PS3? I've read that PS3 is bad but PS4 is awesome. I'd like to continue the series, but I'm intending on buying 4 rather than 3.
I played my physical 4 CD copy of Torment on a Windows XP last year, if that's any help to you.
Having a digital copy is worth just for the fact that you don't have to juggle between 4 different discs. Get the physical copy for the awesome map/poster though!BoneSnapDeez wrote:You can get a physical copy of Planescape for like $15 on Amazon right now - but I have no idea how well it would run on a modern PC.

PS3 is actually better than PS2, in my opinion.
The stories of all 4 games are loosely related - through Phantasy Star IV does the best job of explicitly referencing the past installments.

PS1 -> PS2 -> PS4 is a pretty standard progression of "hundred years later" between each installment. PS3 is tangentially related due to spoiler reasons.
