I like what he's doing here. He's challenging a bunch of rapper and its going to bring lots of competition. Theres already a few "disses". I put that in quotations because it's not like beef disses, but more like competition disses.

I think this is great for Hip Hop, competition like this separates the men from the boys. Can't wait to watch it unfold

yeah it's awesome. Anyone who takes it as a diss is missing the point. If he said your name, it's cuz you're on top. It's almost a who's who of relevant MC's right now. And he's saying "I'm trying to protect the throne," y'know? It's awesome. Competition is amazing motivation in hip hop. I think every MC should aim to be the best.

I get his point, but that track is something dumb whack (not to be confused with "stupid whack"). It's a song about not name dropping, that does nothing but name drop. And yes, I get it. But at almost 8minutes long with about one minute of decent rhyming...no thanks.

So they're killing hip hop by letting their voice be heard by every rapper and millions of fans? When you have a place where you can voice your opinions that easily, why ignore it? It isn't killing hip hop, its quickly responding and letting everyone know what they think.

You're treating this like two rappers are beefing. This is where you're wrong. They aren't trying to go back and forth and attack each other, they are trying to make good quality response tracks. This is competition, not beef.

It's not like nobody is making responses, everybody is making response tracks. Many rappers already have, while others are making them currently.

Couldn't agree more. Hell, competition even landed Canibus a decent single.

But let us not confuse name dropping for straight up calling out everyone. This isn't Protect ya Neck or Mama Said Knock You Out. This is name dropping on what is most likely a "I never ever met you or battled you, but I'd like to bank on your fame" shit. Good for him, he got his responses. But until he responds to people who respond to him, on an album or in person, it's all ticky tack to me.

Like it or lump it; I'll give a squat when Nas tears him a new one and he actually has to respond.

Then, I'll be impressed. As of now to me this is like Miley Cyrus calling out other pop stars.
