What beer does "everyone" drink where you live?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Barf. I like my beer to taste like beer and not fruit. I remember purchasing a "Blue Brew" and I didn't expect THAT much of a blueberry taste.

I can't tell Labbat's and Miller Lite apart (On a hot day I'm fine with both). They both taste like "Beer".

Wish more of you guys could try Duck Rabbit's brews. Good stuff.

These are probably the two beers I've had more than any other (in terms of sheer quantity). They taste quite different to me.

Another popular beer (besides the big mainstream beers) is of course Shinerbock, from the brewery in Shiner, TX.
One of the bars in my town has Shiner on tap, and it's pretty good for an inexpensive beer. Really misleading color, most of the people i've turned onto it up here are put off by the dark color at first. Most end up really liking it.

Its kinda weird right in my area, as there's a lot of people who drink Coors, but a lot of people I know drink Lone Star. In my area, despite being so close to Shiner, there isn't nearly as many places that carry it besides grocery stores, so most people buy Lone Star and such. That, and the hard line advertising in both San Antonio/Austin. I don't think you can make it through any bit of highway in either town without passing both an English and Spanish sign on the side of the road.

My favorite 3 brands of beer:

Vergina. Hardest to find outside the Macedonia region, but it's the tastiest imo.

Mythos. Second most common local beer so I drink this usually
Image
Pilsner Urquell. Good imported Czech beer. Drunk many of these in Prague (and here when I can find it)

A Pepsi challenge might change that.

Keep in mind I'm quite the bon vivant ;)

The main locally brewed beer around here (Florida) is Landshark. It's not terrible, but I tend to lean towards Blue Moon or the Sam Adams Alpine Spring. Right now Sam Adams Oktoberfest isn't bad either.
My wife is from Montreal and we get up there once a year or so. When we're there, I enjoy Rickards Red (Molson) and La Fin Du Monde (Unibroue). Both are excellent in my book.

Yeah most of my friends will have a Shiner Bock if they're just having a 'regular' beer here in Houston.
