I guess I've never mentioned I'm a type 1 diabetic.REPO Man wrote:Tell me about it. Then again, I tend to avoid cola. But flavored cola, like Cherry Coke, is alright.
Also, anyone ever try Cheerwine? It's this cherry soda that's made in my home state of North Carolina.

Oh, sorry. I actually have family members who are diabetic. The Apprentice wrote:I guess I've never mentioned I'm a type 1 diabetic.
Don't worry about it. One thing that's nice is if I go to a party with 5 2-liters of regular and a 2-liter of diet coke, I'm garunteed 2-liters of soda, since I'm the only one drinking it.REPO Man wrote:Oh, sorry. I've never been to Papa John's, except for the one next to the Play N Trade in Kitty Hawk (or is it Kill Devil Hills? I can never remember the boundaries since I just call it all "Nags Head"). And that was just to get a drink. They're a small place, just big enough to place and pick up your orders.Zer wrote:When I get pizza it's usually Papa John's, on occasion Pizza Hut.
Oh man that reminds me, I forgot about CiCi's, a little place that seems to be a chain but not a particularly big one, I've seen two or maybe three in this area and I think I saw them up in St. Louis when I visited too. It's buffet, with mostly pizza, though there's some pasta and salad too. The pizza can be kinda meh at times, but it's never too bad and good when I feel like stuffing myself with pizza and not having leftovers (cold leftover pizza FUCK YEAH). Cheap too. Though it sucks when there's a big crowd and the good kinds of pizza get taken right away, but they cook them pretty fast so I can just keep a eye on it and dash over when it comes out.REPO Man wrote: There's also this other place which is considered a "pizza buffet". It's great.
