FFXIII. Now Lightning has larger and jiggling breasts. It's like they're going backwards. I may have used the 'shock' smiley, but nothing really surprises me from Square Enix anymore. They should probably just sell the FF franchise to someone more capable.
Not a expert or anything in this but that seems way out of character with her... still, for some reason, i find this really funny.

I seriously did. Her legs are so thin I'm surprised she can walk around in full armor. That stuff is heavy. Her shoulders look too weak to swing that weapon too.

It's not too ridiculous though. Not as ridiculous as Cloud's 800 pound sword.

Ya'll are all going on about boobs jiggling and pigeon legs, my issue with the design is that there are so few belts. I mean, what the hell.

Yeah, saying Final Fantasy doesn't make sense doesn't make much sense.

I honestly don't see it. To me, Lightning just looks normal. Attractive, sure, but not super sexy or skinny or anything.

Now as far as her wardrobe is concerned, she was completely tasteful in the first game. Her clothing might have gotten more sexualized in the latter two games, but only the first one is canon as far as I'm concerned so I don't mind that too much.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Lighting's appearance in the first game. Haven't played the second. She does look like an attractive, normal woman (with amazing hair). Just not a particularly strong one.

Well it is Final Fantasy. They've done it before, with e.g. Tifa's victory pose.

I don't think there is a single game that has credible female warrior characters. A scrawny (even if busty) female character should not be as strong as an inhumanely muscular 2m 200kg male character. Yet they are, except in some CRPGs that give a strength penalty to female characters. So I really don't see much difference between Lenneth and Lightning.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

But its sexist to give a strength hit to female characters!

Maybe its just me, but if we're going to have female warrior characters, they need to have a warrior build. Hammer from Fable 2 is one of the better examples, and its in Fable. I mean, come on!
