I had a modded Wii. Used Super Smash Brothers Brawl to do it, and loaded my portable HDD with games. I don't have my Wii any more though, but it was easy to to and easy enough to get games. :mrgreen:

I won't argue the right and/or wrong about modding your Wii, but I will say its nice. If you need any help, please feel free to PM me :mrgreen:

so I soft-modded mine a few months back and it just recently occurred to me - does a modded Wii play GameCube imports as well?

It certainly does, and burned DVDs
