Please don't be fooled into thinking that feminists believe any of this nonsense.
I don't care if he's a troll or not. I'm still astounded. Also, please don't stereotype all feminists as intelligent people.

I am going to start using this line to insult both groups and individuals. It is so versatile!

Thought I'd add this in here:

FFXIII. Now Lightning has larger and jiggling breasts. It's like they're going backwards. I may have used the 'shock' smiley, but nothing really surprises me from Square Enix anymore. They should probably just sell the FF franchise to someone more capable.

My first thought is that that may just be a new/revised engine with that includes more animation on that level in general. Mostly 'cause FFXIV has boob jiggling as well. So if they were, say, using that engine to build the game like FFXII is seeingly built on FFXI's, it might just be a "feature" that was already there.

Resizing, I dunno, though if it -is- a converted character model that might explain some of it.

In general, it is somewhat interesting that they're trying to build a brand of sorts around Lightning. I mean, pandering and DLC costumes aside, they seem to be trying really hard to make her into a female Cloud.

Whatever works, haha. Whether I end up buying the game or not, this really won't factor in anyway. I just always end up buying the latest FF hoping to fall in love with the series again. Didn't even finish XIII or XIII-2... but... just maybe.

Surely it's just the result of a harmless and coincidental engine upgrade, and not a shameless degradation of the character for more sales.

Surely.

Those particular aspects could be. In concert with some of the other additions...yeah, does seem more like they're pulling a Zero Suit.

I could never take her seriously as a seasoned warrior with her twiglike physique. Looks like she might fall over from being topheavy...

Did you seriously just call Lightning "twiglike?"

Seriously?
