Stuff is looking pretty darned good for me right now. Received another 'lor' today (copied from a pdf, so bare with me, and of course the letter has been edited to save my anonymity):
"To Whom it May Concern,
I met Luke in 2005 as he was a neighbor to my two friends and future business partners.
Although we were all undergrads at East Carolina and Luke was a graduate student, he always
treated us as equals and we became friends. As I got to know Luke, I was impressed with
his knowledge of culinary arts. Over the time we spent together, it was his overall brightness,
helpful nature, eagerness to learn and professionalism that impressed me the most.
As my friends and I approached the end of our undergraduate studies in 2007, we decided to
use the talents and skills we learned in college to start a business. Luke was instrumental in
helping us get to a successful start. He assisted us in our entire company structure as well
as our plan for how to penetrate the market. Using the low-cost provider business model, we
were able to secure successful projects to help add accreditation to our edgling Graphic
Design business. It also helped us to continue to grow every year through recession and
evolve into the agency we are today. Without his help and guidance our story may have
ended up dierent. With the business knowledge he instilled in us we have led our business
to the most successful year to date with promise for more growth.
It is for these reasons, as well as other unspoken attributes, that lead me to highly recommend
Luke to your company. Luke is a great asset and will only help to grow your business
and add a positive, hardworking leader to your workforce."
Not that I'm weighing much on the letters of recommendation, but I now have four CEO's and two lawyers telling people basically "You'd be dumb not to give this guy the keys to the car".
Not that anyone trusts a lawyer *cough* besides Professional Gamer that is
