Also add what system you plan to play it on. I am trying to decide between the original gen cart and the gba port.

And to add, I have a gen cart and case up for sale on my bst thread

So many ports! The game is on Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, GBA, PS2 (as both a port and remake), PSP, Xbox 360, and PS3.

I'll be playing on PSP as it's much easier for me to play portable games. The GBA port is solid too. It's more or less a direct port of the Genesis game and lacks the "save states" that you'd have on PS2/PSP/Xbox 360/PS3.

And yup, I'll be starting tomorrow.

Yeah, I'll be jumping into this at some point since it's on my summer challenge as well. I'll be on the JP Mega Drive version. Hopefully they didn't ramp the difficulty down for the US release, or something.

I hear the US version is fairly difficult.

Yeah, I guess what I'm really curious about is if it's any more difficult than the original, but I'm also hoping there aren't any balance differences, etc between region releases.

Count me in. I'll be playing it on the Genesis Collection (360), and probably will be starting over. Didn't get real far last time I played.

I will try and play this. I've got a playthrough about 1/3 of the way in, but the game is so grindy mcgrind that I don't know if I will work up the energy to invest time in it.
