Also, I've been really spoiled by save states and get frustrated a lot more quickly then I used to.

No worries.

I will also point out that Ducktales, Contra, Ninja Gaiden, and Super Mario Bros. were some of my only games as a child; so, maybe I recall it as "easy by comparison"...

I've beaten Contra and SMB, but Duck Tales makes me rage thus far

wow weird. Contra I could never beat without Konami Code. SMB I always rage-quit on like 8-3. But Duck Tales I have beat. Maybe I'll try to play along with you guys a bit. My wife picked up the NES cart about a month ago as it happens. But we'll see... her NES isn't hooked up right now since her room is basically our catch-all for unpacked boxes and I'd have to unhook one of my consoles to hook it up in my room. Actually when's that WayFord remake coming out?

That's probably because the camera was always in a fixed position in those two games.

not like I do, but yeah. It's not her main hobby or anything, and she's not as picky about CIB stuff. But she likes NES and Genesis stuff a lot. And she also has a collection of Disney games for various systems.

Don't rush him. It's gotta be perfect. I'll be back with some chairs so we don't get too tired.
