Just got a Wii U
Re: Just got a Wii U
Thanks for all the input. I turned into a sad panda when I found that you couldn't actually get Link to The Past. I misread something.

Re: Just got a Wii U
I assume it'll be released at some point before the 3DS sequel cones out.

Re: Just got a Wii U
You can get Link to the Past.......through the Wii channel's virtual console. Sad part is that you then have to have a Wii Pro Controller, not a WiiU Pro Controller since the system doesn't support Gamecube controllers. Then! when the WiiU version does come out, you can pay a small $1 fee to transfer it over to the WiiU.....
So, all in all...just wait...it is not worth it.

Nintendo needs to get their online Shiz together. Cross platform VC, No more friend codes, purchases are tied to User Accounts and not consoles, etc. Compared to XBL and PSN, the Wii/Wii-U feels like the dial-up days when everybody was still trying to figure out what this whole "Internet" thing was.
Seriously Nintendo... What gives?

I'm all for Trophies and a Premium service as well. Just gives more incentive to play. Some people like collecting digital Trophies/Achievements. including myself...EvilRyu2099 wrote:And I know I sound lame for saying this.. Trophies as well.. +1 on this post.. I know how you feel with the locked-to-console digital games. My 3DS may never leave my house.

Re: Just got a Wii U
Well, I still enjoy the Wii U. It has yet to lose its novelty. Hopefully it never does. Currently have Lego City: Undercover for it and its a blast. Also got Monster Hunter 3, plays well, of course. Not exactly sure what one does in Monster Hunter 3 yet, but I assume its to hunt monsters. I just haven't figured out where to go and such.
