Hi.
I have taken my Dreamcast apart for a repaint as it started to get yellow and I am just unsure how to take off the Dreamcast logo from the centre of the lid.
Have tried getting a stanley knife under it but there is not enough room
Does any one know of a trick to safely remove that sticker and also that bit of plastic that sits right above the power LED?

Doesn't really answer your question, but I figured i'd throw this out there in case you weren't familiar with it.

You might be able to use some goo gone or something dribbled around them and left to soak so the glue softens up.

Hmm I sprayed one a few years ago and the logo came off easily with an thin box cutter blade. A dab of super glue after it was dried and back on it went.

Success in the logo but the lower part won't come out with the box cutter.miked wrote:Hmm I sprayed one a few years ago and the logo came off easily with an thin box cutter blade. A dab of super glue after it was dried and back on it went.

Painter's tape is usually better to use, but masking tape will do you fine. 3M's ScotchBlue painting tape is great, but a little expensive.
