OK, getting pissed I'm not done with this (and don't typically have much time for it during the week).

I know I delay a lot and work slowly, but this is dumb.

Still, I'm closer than I was the last time I posted. And now I'm thinking of spinning off a lot of the homebrew/translation/hack information into a separate article. The PC Engine probably has the 3rd most active homebrew scene (after the Dreamcast and the Neo Geo).

Sure. For the 101, just give some basic information on the scene. We can then link a second article easily enough if you choose to write one.

Sounds like a plan -- it's not worth holding up the 101. We can always add stuff later -- just like this time :)

They way I've been letting this thing balloon (and not because I'm too verbose, I've honestly been working on being concise), it may already be too big : )

Done writing and doing initial self-editing. And boy did I do a lot of editing. I can be pretty redundant at times, and there is still a certain amount of redundancy, but I've weeded out the worst examples.

Someone else will want to go over it to make sure the tone is consistent (something else I had to do major editing to try and fix) and that the remaining redundancy isn't too irritating. Er, also perhaps length. It's kinda long...

I've left some nice hooks for future articles, so hopefully some other TG16/PCE experts will step in and offer their time and effort to expand our article base.

I'm gonna sit on this today, give it another quick look over tonight, and then email it to RB.

Don't thank me yet. It's almost 2 months later than you would have liked, and you may decide it's a meandering mess or simply a case of TMI. Once I get it to you tonight or tomorrow, then decide if you want to thank me : )
