3DS - Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Re: 3DS - Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Does everyone else have a bug catching competition today? Its going on from 9 am to 6 pm in my town. I already have an 80 point bug submitted, will try to beat that later. Oh, and be aware of the art dealer that travels to your town, I bought a painting for 3k bells, and went to donate it to the museum and it was a fake!

So I just want to ask, would this game appeal to a Viva Pinata fan? I've never played an Animal Crossing game, but it sounds like they share some traits with the Viva Pinata titles.

Well, after reading this thread and watching some videos over the weekend. I'm definitely sold on this game. I'll be buying a copy as soon as I can grab the 3DS XL on sale...

If you go in with the right expectations, this game can be a ton of fun. If you don't, the game will be a big disappointment.jinx wrote:Well, after reading this thread and watching some videos over the weekend. I'm definitely sold on this game. I think it's the prime example of a hit-or-miss game.

I ended up winning with a 127 point "Bird Wing Butterfly" Was hoping for some sweet item, but I guess the gold trophy will suffice.WallCrusher wrote:Well, that's annoying, seeing as how I was at Best Buy yesterday.Mechblue wrote:Also I didn't see it mentioned here but Best Buy is offering some free items with their Nintendo Zone.

I am loving that if you enact the night owl ordinance, the stores stay open later (duh) but still open at the same times! Makes it not such a rush to get stuff done at night, but on the weekends when I can play earlier, it doesnt hinder that either.

May I add you? see my post on pg 5 for my info. If so, what is your info?jinx wrote:Hmm... I've been thinking it over and wonder if this is the game I should start with. Is there any advantages/disadvantages with going with this one over the old Animal Crossing games? This one seems great as it's portable and I seem to have more time to game at work than I do at home.

Go right ahead. I'll add you after work. I play for maybe an hour (sometimes more) almost every night.MrsWclem wrote:
