Does everyone else have a bug catching competition today? Its going on from 9 am to 6 pm in my town. I already have an 80 point bug submitted, will try to beat that later. Oh, and be aware of the art dealer that travels to your town, I bought a painting for 3k bells, and went to donate it to the museum and it was a fake!

So I just want to ask, would this game appeal to a Viva Pinata fan? I've never played an Animal Crossing game, but it sounds like they share some traits with the Viva Pinata titles.

Well, after reading this thread and watching some videos over the weekend. I'm definitely sold on this game. I'll be buying a copy as soon as I can grab the 3DS XL on sale...

If you go in with the right expectations, this game can be a ton of fun. If you don't, the game will be a big disappointment.

I think it's the prime example of a hit-or-miss game.

6/16-6/29 RACCOON WALL-CLOCK
6/30-7/13 CAT TOWER
7/14-7/27 SUITCASE
7/28-8/10 DOUBLE NECK GUITAR

Well, that's annoying, seeing as how I was at Best Buy yesterday.

Yeah, the Bug-off was fun. I won 1st place with 107 points.

I ended up winning with a 127 point "Bird Wing Butterfly" Was hoping for some sweet item, but I guess the gold trophy will suffice.

I am loving that if you enact the night owl ordinance, the stores stay open later (duh) but still open at the same times! Makes it not such a rush to get stuff done at night, but on the weekends when I can play earlier, it doesnt hinder that either.

:D :D Hi everyone. I have played all of the Animal Crossings and I like this reinvented version. So much more to do.... So many more Nintendo items! I need more friend codes, though, as I am an older player who knows very few people who play this game.

FC= 0989-1890-0076
Name: MrsWClem
Town: Gametown (What else would I call it? LOL!)
Fruit: Pear (but I have everything else now too)
House: on third loan
Store- second level
No hair store, club or kicks yet.

Please let me know if I can add you. I play ALOT. It is very cathartic for me (stressful job) so I "Zone out" with AC quite a bit. I am usually on about 5pm-9pm Mon-Fri (on and off, depending if anyone is on or if I dont have gardening or shopping to do.....) and Sat & Sun even more. I play this and watch my Hubbie (WClem) play Last Of Us..... Hey, we have no other vices except collecting video games ( near 6000 now!).....

Let me know! :P :P

Anyway, feel free to add my friend code in my signature. Just let me know, and I'll add you back!

May I add you? See my post on page 5 for my info.

May I add you? see my post on pg 5 for my info. If so, what is your info?

Go right ahead. I'll add you after work. I play for maybe an hour (sometimes more) almost every night.
