Good kids. Especially now that they're watching a movie. Still takes a ton of time and energy. I don't know how parents do it.

I have yet to meet a parent that knows 'how to do it", they just do. It's a weird thing that I have yet to wrap my head around, and mine will be 2 in October. It's the most rewardingly terrifying thing I have ever done in my life.
It's really more like you just get to where you are used to being perpetually tired. There is no such thing as "energy" or "catching up on sleep" when you have a child. To think that I used to sleep until noon seems absolutely ridiculous to me these days. Kara, my little guy will be 2 in November, so we aren't too far off with our little ones.

:D : I'm almost done sanding the small telephone table I picked up at the thrift store. I'm going to refinish it and put a mosaic on the top of it. It can't be anything fancy, because space is limited, so I'm sticking to an '8-bit style'. I made a couple of different designs and I've narrowed the choices down to 3. What do you guys think?

:? : The people who had this table before decided to paint it orange (blah!), so part of the garage is partially colored in orange dust. This is going to be a pain to clean up, I just know it.

Smile: Just got done showing my niece Batman 89. She'd already seen The Dark Knight with her mom, so I wanted her to see what I was watching at her age. It's always fun watching older movies with her just to see how she reacts. She pointed out how odd it was that Batman wears bulletproof armor, but when Joker shoots his plane, it blows up. I had actually never thought about that. Funny.

:D Had a lot of fun out with the guys last night, even if its just a pre-party for the Thump.

:? This drunk lady hit on me. This is about the 3rd time or so in recent memory I've had a drunk girl somewhere in the 25-30 range hit on me. (She might've been older, I'm not the best at telling age.) When I told here I was 17, her reply was "It's all legal if you don't tell anybody!", but she was disappointed. She then asked me to rate myself on a scale of 1-10, so I threw out a 5, since I didn't know where she was going with it. She then went on continually telling me how I'm cute and I need to act more confident, yadda yadda. My friends snuck off from me, so she cut me loose. She told me again that I was cute, and slapped my ass as I walked away.
