My exact thoughts it was very unique and different when it launched. I really enjoyed it and look forward to the sequel!!JordanPlayer wrote:Ooooooo man, can't wait for this!I've been playing games for a long time and I really enjoyed the first game. The art style was great; bright, vibrant, a breath of fresh air honestly (I was even grinning at the beginning of the game from it). I also liked the first person viewpoint, it was unique and different than any other platformer like it... if it went 3rd person it end up feeling similar to Prince of Persia. I hope they keep quite a bit from the original (maybe tweak combat, but I don't want them to focus on combat).

You're welcome
Re: Mirror's Edge 2 Confirmed!
Wish it was coming to the 360, means i wont play it for a long long time.

It's nice that Faith has learned jiu-jitsu.
It's great closed quarters combat, more game characters should probably stop by Gracie Barra and learn a thing or two. Fighting styles are sub-optimal in most games.

Bought the original one on a steam sale sometime in the past year. I should really give it another go (rented it once on PS3 and I really liked it, but I didn't get to beat it before I had to return it)

Re: Mirror's Edge 2 Confirmed!
Sound was beautiful. Graphics were beautiful. Younger Faith was beautiful. This could be a system seller...but...sooo much money.
I might end up renting a system for the first time ever.
I'm glad her fighting style has expanded, but grappling is a pretty bad idea when the floor is linoleum, there are many people after you, and all of them have guns. Boxing would be dumb in that situation too, but at least you won't be entangled with your opponent
Oh well. She managed to survive the first game.

I am super happy for the new Mirror's Edge release, but nobody is as happy as this guy.
