New Brando footage, looks better than Lester's, and no memory deleting kiss. I'll take the Donner cut.AppleQueso wrote:
How'd you like the Donner cut of II?![]()
For me, it's definitely rough around the edges and feels a tad 'incomplete' because of the way they had to reconstruct it, but overall I think I prefer it to the original theatrical cut.
And yeah, they erased the memory kiss thingy in IV as Lois says something close to "I know who've been all along", but I still prefer the Donner cut.

Good. There is an 11am showing of MAN OF STEEL this coming Friday, so I can take the wife and see it with a crowd. Plus I can sit back, relax, and enjoy the film without having to be nitpicky. It's one of those films that you want to watch again as soon as the movie is over.
And although I watched it in my home theater, I can not wait to see it on a huge screen. One thing Snyder does in the movie is show something from a distance, and then zoom in quickly, which almost makes you feel like you are there (and don't worry, the entire isn't slow-mo to fast-mo). My notes indicate he overused that effect, but I also didn't think it took away from the movie one bit.
