Really? Considering PS1 is incapable of doing a game like GTA3 much less Vice City, yet PSP can do both - It really isn't.

Basically, the bottom line is that the Wii is what the Gamecube should have been. Sure it's got some pretty neat idea's with those Wii-motes, but Nintendo should've released this system 4 years ago. The resolution, and the lack of any hard drive bring this console down farther than it needs to be. I remember when the gamecube was released, for $199. It had a demo disc and one controller. At the time and even now, the graphics were pretty damn good, especially compared to the PS2. The controller reminded me of the N64's with it's quirkyness, but it still worked for the most part once you got used to it. Now we have the Wii, which isnt that much of a big upgrade over the Gamecube, and it's $50 more. How much is the Gamecube now? It's $99 last time I looked, and Nintendo is still making a profit off them. I wouldnt be surprised in a year and a half if the price of the Wii doesnt drop 30-40%. $250 isn't the propper asking price for a last gen console.

By the way, the main, great reason from a business standpoint to price a console like this so high, is so it does have room to lower it's price along with it's competitors. When the 360's price is lowered because of the eventual chip reduction, the Wii will still be cheaper because Nintendo set themselves up to be in a dominant position this time around.

After all of this crap going on between these three companies, I have a strong dislike for corporate politics now. This constant back-stabbing of all parties involved, including the consumer, just isnt right.
