god of war 3, is the only game that gives the ps3 any distinct advantage over the 360. and yes, i am aware that god of war is overhyped, but if you've actually played it, its one of the most satisfying experiences in gaming nowadays.

Love god of war 1 and 2. Great game. Hoping 3 lives upto the hype.

yeah i had a ps3 for about a year. The console is amazing but over all the games are pretty disappointing. Granted there are some gems
folklore
virtua fighter
stuff like that....
regaurdless it decided it wasnt worth having and i sold it. Imo the 360 is overall better as far as games go, also the XBLA is WAYYYYYY bet than PSN.
ps3 is a little prettier and i like the console features better like free online play and built in wifi, unfortunatly the games backing it arent enough for me.

Right now there are two games that are getting play on my PS3, and soon there will be two more.

Rock Band is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this game. If you have a 360 or a PS3, you should get this game.

The second game is Disgaea 3, which has turned out to be a rather addictive strategy game. It's got a quirky sense of humor that's very self referential (and even parodies a lot of anime conventions), and it also ends up being rather deep in the post game. You will quickly fall into the trap of creating the most badass team of hombres you can.

On the horizon, I'm really looking forward to Valkyria Chronicles, as I like the aesthetic, and from the gameplay I got to try at PAX it felt like a nice take on the strategy game. And of course, Final Fantasy XIII, because I am a consumer whore.

Also, wasn't aware there was different difficulty settings in Uncharted, can you change the setting if you have already started a game? Oh, and I haven't got Virtua Fighter 5 yet, but I'm a little gutted that I'd have to spend another £70-100 just to get a good arcade stick for it. Somehow I doubt warhawk is my kind of thing, like a majority of the shooting games out there at the moment.
yes in the options at the main menu if i remember correctly

No wonder y'all are dissatisfied playing games like those.

Here's where it's at as far as exclusives go:

MGS4
Uncharted
Resistance
Motorstorm
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction

PSN Games:
Super Stardust HD
Wipeout HD
Pixel Junk Monsters/Pixel Junk Eden

And of course plenty of cross platform games not mentioned:

GTA4, COD4, DMC4, Oblivion, UT3, Assassin's Creed, sports games, etc.

and Downloadable x-platform:
Everyday Shooter
Bionic Commando Rearmed
Mega Man 9

I <3 my PS3.

I think MGS4 and Yakuza 3 (will) utilise the blu-ray for some ace storytelling, but other than that this generation has brought little to the table. And all this DLC is hardly enticing since we've had it on PC for ages now (and at no extra cost in most cases: freeware and abandonware)

So now I'm thinking...there's plenty to keep me going on the Wii for the next year, maybe I should sell it and see what the situation with the two systems is like later down the line? Of course this would mean I probably wouldn't be able to find a 60GB system again. Gah, it's either keep it and let it gather dust or keep the money to spend on games for all my other systems.

It appears I already set it to Easy. Bloody hell, that ridiculous, this couldn't get any harder!
