I need help putting together a list. I think I'll at least borrow one from Noise, I don't think I've ever played more than 30 minutes of Doom, so I'll do that one. And I'm thinking Wizardry, since that is one of the ones that I nominated for the RPG together thread because it was a classic that I hadn't played. Here's what I have, any thoughts?

Doom (PC)
Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord (PC)
Super Metroid (WiiVC)
Kirby's Adventure (WiiVC)
?NES game?
?Saturn game?
Syberia (PC)

Anywhere we can see your collection so we have some ideas of what to suggest?

As for NES games, I'm playing Blaster Master if you fancy joining in on that.

I've decided to put off Prime 3 until I can see if I can get someone to send me these friend vouchers. If we reach the 28th of June and I haven't found anyone who can help, I'll download a save with the vouchers and a clean save file and do it that way so I don't need to delete my save game.

Until then, I guess I need to decide if I'll play Tomb Raider, FFVII or Metal Gear Solid as my longer game instead.

I like these ideas very much. I think I'm gonna do SF2 (already playing that for Together Retro). MediEvil, and maybe Alex Kidd.

I don't really have my collection too documented yet, thanks for the suggestion of Blaster Master, I do have that one.

I've already beaten TR as it is one of my favorite game series. Happy to see that you're doing it though. The other two are good options, I can't remember are you doing either of those for your challenge?

New list:
Doom (PC)
Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord (PC)
Super Metroid (WiiVC)
Kirby's Adventure (WiiVC)
Shining Force 2 (Genesis)
Blaster Master (NES)
Panzer Dragoon (Saturn)
MediEvil (PSP)
Syberia (PC)
Alex Kidd in Miracle World (SMS)

Hmm fun list for sure, I'll have to think about it and make sure that's what I want to do. Syberia I think is probably the only one that might stretch the "classic" moniker, but I'd like to do an adventure game for the challenge. Maybe I'll swap it out for Zork or A Mind Forever Voyaging.

Ooh, I want to replay Doom, so I may join in with you. I was just playing Doom 3 last night, too. I've never beaten the first game, so it'll be a good time to knock one off the list and revisit an old classic.

I'll be changing my list a bit again.

I'm removing SMB3 and Megaman X5 and replacing them with Sonic CD and Megaman 7 (or is that not classic enough Dave? I hear people say it's not as good, but when I played it for a bit it seemed pretty fun to me)

1. No you're not. The TR game right now is Dizzy.

2. Double dipping with Dave, eh? Very pussy.

EDIT:

And some updates on my list. I just started up Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Camera sucks and can't find a way to tweak it in game. Hoping the main menu lets me do so. But visually, an excellent game and I like all the blood. Is Ayane in the first game? I mean... is it obviously connected to DOA or does that happen more in the sequels? Shucks, maybe that shouldn't get spoiled for me? Anyway, I made it to first boss and rage quit. Haha. Had such a busy day doing work around the house, I'm thinking NG is not really a 'relaxing' game.
