I don't understand why Nintendo re-releasing NES games is an obligation or expecation on you to re-buy them again. Maybe they want to make them available to people who played them in the past but no longer own them. Maybe they want to make them available to people who never got the chance to play them, either due to being a dirty Sega fan or to being too young/not born yet.

This speaks to my current sexual behaviour as well.
I differ from you though -- I'm not really happy with most of what they put out. I'm finding myself disappointed time and time again, and it's usually down to the particular mechanic. Paper Mario Sticker Star is a great example -- changing an aspect of the core game that makes it not fun.

you're right; i can easily choose not to buy them. i just don't understand why they're still being presented & marketed on the same level as actual new wii u titles. like if i buy a wii u it should be an expectation that every nes game is downloadable on the store they shouldn't still be releasing them on a single game basis & relying on them as a crutch to generate more enthusiasm for their new console
I feel that since midway through the Wiis life they have kinda gone into cruise control. As long as they still give me a good game every once and a while, they will still have a place in my house*. But honestly, most gaming recently has been kinda stagnated to me. There is the occasional really cool game, like Monaco, but there hasnt been anything earthshaking to me in a while.

It seems like you are creating the expectstions and mafe up crutches. They are available for those who are interested. I think the more options the better. It is only a good thing in my point of view that those games are made available.

i guess you're right. i'd just wonder what are the other options?
